Travel onwards
This little experiment will just take a couple of minutes. It may be useful to take notes of your observations...
- Take a deep breath and consciously anchor yourself in the here and now. Feel the soles of your feet on the floor.
- Now move ahead in time in your imagination, preferably several years, possibly even into old age. Put yourself in your future self.
- Enjoy the serenity and calm that prevails because of your long journey to this point in your life.
- Look back with the wisdom of age at what is shaping your present nowadays.
- How does your experience change when you view it from a great distance?
- What becomes clear to you that you have not been able to perceive before?
- What course corrections may result from this?
- Today, what can you do that your future self will thank you for?
